Why Digital Photos Can Be a Parenting Nightmare
Let’s be real—while there are bigger issues in the world, my smartphone has turned into a digital black hole of photos since I got it a few years ago. My laptop is also packed with countless pictures of my kids in various antics, whether it’s them in silly hats, covered in face paint, or performing in their school plays. It’s like I’m a personal paparazzi, capturing every moment of their lives.

Before I know it, I have countless unfinished projects sitting in my online file.
And what haunts me the most? The fear of a digital disaster where I lose all my photos. If a childhood goes unrecorded, did it even happen?
So, what’s the solution? Deleting photos is one option, but it’s time-consuming. Plus, what if I accidentally toss that one perfect shot of my kid at age five? It feels too cold to just wipe them away, yet I have to remind myself: easy come, easy go.
But maybe I should hold onto a few…
