With my eldest about to embark on his kindergarten journey in just a few weeks, I’m feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. Soon, he’ll hop onto a big yellow school bus filled with older kids, all while balancing new responsibilities and expectations on his tiny shoulders. I have a strong feeling that at least a few of these worries will come true. I’m preparing myself for anything! Who knows, maybe I can sweeten the deal with some chocolate and a little wine for the teacher if he turns out to be as much of a handful at school as he is at home. For now, I’m just trying to survive these last few days of summer.
