When Rachel learned about Max’s love for her song, she made a surprise visit to his room at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and it was truly heartwarming. Max has been diagnosed with stage-four atypical rhabdoid teratoid, a challenging and aggressive tumor that affects the brain and spinal cord. His dad, Tom Turner, shared, “Max picked up the lyrics after listening just a few times. He would sing it during painful moments, but now it’s part of his daily routine – he sings it in the morning, at bedtime, and even during his treatments.”
