A Heartfelt Note to Our Teachers
To all the amazing educators out there, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude. Thank you for all the times you will think of my child while grading papers or planning activities. You teach them so much more than just academics.
Thank you for listening to their stories, no matter how small or silly. Your enthusiasm for even the simplest milestones—like a lost tooth—means the world. I can only imagine how many teeth you’ve seen, yet you still celebrate each one like it’s the first.
Thank you for comforting my child during tough moments. I appreciate all that you do, much of which goes unseen. Your hard work doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves, especially with the budget constraints that force you to spend your own money or work overtime.
Please know that your dedication shines through in my child’s face as they dive into the next Harry Potter book or when they proudly write their name for the first time. Thank you for being there, for caring about your students as if they were your own.
On that first day of school, I’m not just sending my child into your care; I’m entrusting you with my heart. Letting go of my seven-year-old’s hand as he heads to the bus feels like placing my newborn in your arms. Thank you for welcoming them with open arms.
