10 Reasons I Wish I Had My Curvy Friends’ Assets
As a proud member of the petite chest club, I sometimes find myself daydreaming about the perks of having a fuller figure. Don’t get me wrong, I love my body, but here are some light-hearted reasons why I envy my curvier friends:
- I’ve often heard that women with larger breasts don’t enjoy all the attention they get. But honestly, who wouldn’t want to be the center of attention? Maybe it’s easier to say that when you’re not often mistaken for the younger sibling on outings.
- My little ones always seem to prefer cuddling with their grandma over me. Why? Well, her ample bosom offers a cozy pillow-like experience, while I’m just a collection of bones and angles.
- There’s something about having curves that makes a woman feel more feminine. Breasts are often seen as the quintessential symbol of womanhood. Meanwhile, I feel like my chest resembles a flat tire—definitely not the fertility icon men might be subconsciously seeking.
- The bra selection for smaller sizes is often overrated. There must be some mythical women with perfectly proportioned bodies who snag all the best styles, while I’m left with ill-fitting options that gap and twist.
- I’ve read that larger breasts can actually help with buoyancy in water. No wonder I’m perpetually chilled and struggling whenever I take a swim!
- I stumbled upon an article (probably not the most reliable source) claiming that women with bigger busts tend to receive more job promotions. If that’s the case, I’d gladly trade a few inches for a better career trajectory. After all, guys get ahead because of their “assets,” right?
- When it comes to breastfeeding, I get the whole notion of not wanting to suffocate your baby. But I’d love to be able to nurse without resorting to yoga poses and pillow setups to reach the right height.
- I have no excuse to skip workouts, even if I forget my sports bra. The struggle is real, my friends.
- Getting dressed for a night out involves way too much duct tape and hope. I can only imagine how easy it must be for my curvier friends to look fabulous in their outfits.
- I never get to say, “Hey, eyes up here!” because, honestly, there’s not much to distract anyone from my face. At least my husband is always on the lookout for those fabulous curves!
So while I know bigger isn’t always better—and I’d probably tire of the attention quickly—I definitely admire those luscious curves. To all the voluptuous women out there, your confidence is something I truly envy!
