Let’s Talk Bathroom Habits

Hey there, champ! Let’s have a little heart-to-heart about something we haven’t really talked about yet. You know, not like those times we sat together on my bed, knees touching, your hands in mine, while I awkwardly explained why sending anyone photos of your body parts is a colossal no-no. Remember how I suggested you stick to sharing images of your mundane lunch or that quirky sweater from H&M? And after much back-and-forth, I finally caved and allowed a few selfies—but nothing too scandalous.

Wiping After You Pee

Well, we need to tackle another topic today, my little friend. Let’s talk about your bathroom habits. Specifically, when you’re wiping after you pee, there’s really no need to wrap your hand in enough toilet paper to mummify an entire pharaoh. I get that your aim might not be the best, and perhaps you’re a tad lazy, but come on! It’s a bit much when I find your giant ball of tissue lying forlornly on the floor, looking up at me like, “I used to be a proud tree! Birds nested in my branches! Now look at me, abandoned on this hair-covered floor!”

And, just to clarify, you do realize you’re only wiping your own bits, right? You’re not in charge of cleaning up after a celebrity like Mama June, so there’s no need for a cotton candy-sized fortress between your hand and what you’re drying off. Unless you’re somehow wiping while still peeing, there shouldn’t be much moisture to deal with. I promise, a little pee on your fingers isn’t going to cause a catastrophic meltdown. You can totally manage with just a few sheets.

Fun Fact About Toilet Paper

Fun fact: Toilet paper wasn’t even a thing until 1857! Can you imagine what folks did before? Leaves? Animal pelts? Yikes! Thank goodness we live in an age where we can easily grab some tissue from Costco or even snag a few squares from a gas station restroom. Let’s appreciate that luxury—just don’t use so much that you could pitch a baseball with the massive wad you’ve got going on. We’re a big family, and toilet paper isn’t exactly a free-for-all, you know?
