New Mom Bella Thompson is Every Parent Struggling to Choose a Baby’s First Halloween Costume
When it comes to Halloween, even if it’s not your favorite holiday, you can’t deny that kids—especially babies—look incredibly adorable in costumes. So, it’s no wonder that new mom Bella Thompson found herself overwhelmed with choices for her baby’s first Halloween outfit. Every parent knows the struggle!
Fortunately, Bella loves to share her parenting journey on social media, so we didn’t miss any of the cuteness that comes with trying on eight different costumes. The costume parade kicked off last week with a hilarious snapshot of her little one, who was clearly already over the whole dress-up thing. You can just see the thoughts bubbling in baby Mia’s mind: “Why me?”
One of the standout costumes was a whimsical headdress that Bella thought would be a hit. Spoiler alert: Mia wasn’t as impressed. I mean, who can blame her—supporting all that weight is hard when you can barely hold your own!
Next, Bella tried a sweet Minnie Mouse outfit. However, she later admitted she might have gone a tad overboard with the costume changes. This simple yet adorable ensemble was definitely a contender, but baby Mia looked like she was already aware that there were even more choices ahead.
Oh, and this Little Red Riding Hood look? Absolutely perfect! Thankfully, Mia figured out that if she gave her mom the right look, those pesky costumes could come off. That raised eyebrow was all Bella needed to know: “Nope!”
Then there was another Minnie outfit, but it lacked the flair. As Bella noted, it just didn’t have enough pizzazz to keep Mia’s attention. Moving along, of course, there were more to explore.
For fans of “Grease,” Bella showcased a Pink Ladies costume. While it was adorable, Mia probably would’ve preferred to skip this one too—after all, she’s got a whole squad of amazing women already!
And to top it all off, Bella saved the best for last: a hula girl costume complete with a beach scene! What kid wouldn’t want an outfit that comes with toys? It was definitely a winning choice.
