Meet my 94-year-old great-grandma, Marjorie Peterson, who made her voice heard while resting in her hospice bed in sunny Sarasota, Florida. At that point, she spent most of her days snoozing, only awake for about two hours. When we asked her if she wanted to vote, she perked up and said it was crucial for her to cast her ballot for our first female president. With determination, she requested a ballot.
In a remarkable show of spirit, she dedicated a precious slice of her remaining consciousness—just an eighth of her waking hours—to make her vote count. Marjorie passed away three days later, but her voice will resonate in history, and her vote will make a difference. #GreatGrandmasForHillary
