But honestly, you often rise to the occasion and even surprise me. You may think that your mom is a bit of a tough cookie now, but I believe we’ll have a beautiful relationship based on trust, respect, and tons of love, without any of that baby talk.

Your Connection with Dad

Your connection with your dad is something special. He loves all those things like Legos, baseball, and superheroes that I might not get into. I may seem dull next to all the fun you two have, but I’m not envious. Your bond with him is one of the best gifts you can have, helping you grow into a confident and strong woman.

Despite your stubborn streak (which can be a little exasperating), your enthusiasm to join in adult adventures is remarkable. You’re always ready to hop on a plane or tackle a road trip without a fuss at the grocery store. You even handle long meals at restaurants like a little grown-up! You also have a knack for sharing with your baby brother, whom you call “No-EEE,” and your baby sister, “Me-Lee.” You even share your beloved dried mango with them! I’m so grateful you’ve never wished to send them back, because I totally would have at your age.

Stay true to yourself, and I promise people will adore you for it. Never doubt your wonderful qualities or let the outside world overshadow your inner beauty. Even when I lose my cool, it’s never a reflection of my pride in you. Sometimes, I’m both frustrated and proud simultaneously, which is still a work in progress for me.
