Get ready to have your heartstrings tugged once more! Nostalgia is all the rage these days, with beloved shows and movies making triumphant returns. Think of the recent revivals like Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life and Fuller House, and now, the ultimate romantic film, Love Actually, is joining the party.

But fear not! This isn’t a full-blown sequel that could potentially tarnish the original’s near perfection. Instead, the original cast is reuniting for a delightful 10-minute short to support a fantastic cause: Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. On this day, celebrities don red clown noses to raise awareness and funds to tackle childhood poverty. And so far, Red Nose Day has raised over $1 billion globally to help kids in need.

The short will feature nearly all of the original stars from the 2003 classic, including the charming Hugh Grant, the lovely Keira Knightley, and the dashing Colin Firth. Sadly, we won’t see Alan Rickman, who passed away recently (cue the tears), or Emma Thompson, who portrayed his wife.

Director Richard Curtis is back at the helm, and he assures fans that this mini-sequel will capture the spirit of the original. “I never envisioned writing a sequel to Love Actually, but I thought it might be fun to check in on everyone after all these years,” Curtis shared. “Who’s aged the best? I guess that’s the burning question… or is it obviously Liam? It’s been a joy to have so many from the cast participate, and we can’t wait to relive those characters 14 years later.”
