It’s absurd that Trump and his supporters believe they should dictate how nonprofits manage their finances, especially since restrictive abortion laws don’t stop women from seeking them; they merely increase the prevalence of unsafe procedures, according to the Guttmacher Institute.
By slashing funding for these essential services, women face greater barriers in accessing contraception and other reproductive health options. If the goal is truly to help women plan their families, the solution would be to increase support for these international organizations.
So, until a miracle happens or those impeachment hearings kick off, the best we can do is to donate locally to Planned Parenthood and indulge in these tasty treats that deliver a clear message: Trump, you suck.
