As of now, Thompson has raised an impressive $23,738 and is now working on campaigns to assist other districts like Renton and Tacoma. His efforts have even inspired a friend, Jessica Green, to launch her own initiative to help clear lunch debt in the Everett School District.
“The community response has been overwhelmingly positive, and I’m so proud of everyone coming together for this worthy cause,” Thompson said. “We did this as a team!”
