Small gestures can make a big impact. Providing essential items like high chairs, cribs, and even games can ease the burden for parents. Chocolates on pillows or extra toiletries can show guests that you care. We even set up a fan to help drown out noise for a better night’s sleep. - Go All Out with Food
Food is a central part of any gathering. Create memorable meals that will have guests reminiscing long after the holiday. Consider incorporating local specialties or new dishes to spice things up—like a unique seafood dish for those who might not expect it! - Think Outside the Shower
With so many guests, bathroom lines can get long. Why not make bathing an adventure? Embrace the outdoors for a fun twist on cleanliness. Kids will enjoy the novelty, and it can become a cherished memory. - Schedule Downtime
While keeping a chore chart is great, don’t forget to plan for relaxation. Sometimes the best moments happen when the schedule is light. Offer a few activities but remain flexible to adjust based on everyone’s energy levels. - Travel Together
If possible, consider renting a bus for transportation. This not only saves money but also keeps everyone connected during travels. The kids loved the bus experience just as much as flying, and it made it easier for adults to catch up. - Express Gratitude
Family gatherings are precious, especially as everyone grows older and lives become busier. Take a moment to appreciate the time spent with loved ones at the table. In the end, it’s love and connection that truly matter, not the clean carpets.
