The Exciting Launch of “Motherhood Comes Naturally”

What a whirlwind of a week! I absolutely adore book releases! “Motherhood Comes Naturally” hit the shelves this week, and it’s been an incredible journey. A massive shoutout to Emma Green, the wonderful owner of Cozy Teacups, who organized the most delightful launch tea party in NYC. If you’re in the city, you probably know Emma’s charming restaurants. If you haven’t been yet, make your way there right away. They’re perfect for lunch with friends, an afternoon treat, or even the most memorable birthday celebrations. And those scones? They transformed me from a non-scone fan to a full-fledged scone enthusiast. Truly divine!

Everyone who attended took home a fabulous goody bag, which included not only my latest book but also my previous one (big thanks to HarperCollins!). The bags were also stuffed with delicious snacks, a discount from Sunshine Delights, a complimentary spin class at Soul Cycle, and lovely picture frames from Crafted by Hand. Lucky guests, indeed!

I must also thank Lisa Harper Photography for capturing the event beautifully and reminding me to straighten up and stop slouching (a true gem of a photographer!). If you’re in the NY area, Lisa is an exceptionally talented portrait photographer—be sure to check her out!

A few days later, back in Baltimore, my amazing friends at Charm City Families opened their doors on their day off to throw me a launch party. How incredibly sweet! We were treated to a lovely breakfast courtesy of Nature’s Best, and Lisa and Jamie from the band Rockin’ Tunes entertained the crowd while I signed books for their wonderful moms.

A heartfelt thank you to Megan Wright for the stunning photos. Working with her was such a pleasure, and I’m so grateful for her time and enthusiasm.

Phew! Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think it’s time for a well-deserved nap!
