Let’s be honest: videos of kids terrified by the Easter Bunny shouldn’t be this amusing (yet somehow they are). Can we all agree that bringing a giant rabbit to life is a questionable choice? Even worse is making our little ones sit on the lap of a bunny that’s larger than life for a photograph. The Easter Bunny tradition definitely needs a makeover. Imagine a cheerful, real-sized bunny hopping around the yard, scattering jellybeans instead of a towering, unsettling figure with a frozen grin that could haunt their nightmares forever.

The concept of the Easter Bunny is unsettling largely due to the costumes that just haven’t hit the mark. With that unnatural smile and those overly wide eyes, the Easter Bunny resembles a plush version of your eccentric uncle. It’s downright scary.

There are countless hilarious clips showcasing children utterly freaked out by the Easter Bunny. You might feel a twinge of guilt while watching, but let’s face it—it’s hard not to laugh.

As a general rule, adults in oversized bunny suits should never sneak up on kids. A few moments of laughter could lead to a lifetime of fright.

“I would rather spend eternity wandering the aisles of Walmart than meet that terrifying Easter Bunny,” one parent might say. And honestly, can you blame them? Kids often have a strong dislike for the Easter Bunny.
