Meet the Inspiring 9-Year-Old Girl Who Makes Care Packages for Homeless Women
A remarkable 9-year-old from Southern California is making waves in her community by helping those in need. Meet Mia Garcia, the founder of “Mia’s Care Kits,” a charity dedicated to supporting homeless women.
Mia, along with her grandmother, lovingly crafts fabric bags she calls Care Kits. These bags are filled with essential items like soap, deodorant, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and other necessities, which they distribute to homeless women in their area. “I used to see the same women on my way to school, and I always wondered how they ended up there,” Mia said.
