A devoted Harry Potter enthusiast has transformed her Christmas tree into a magical tribute, and it’s capturing hearts online. For the past two years, one passionate woman from the UK has brought an extra dose of enchantment to the holiday season by adorning her tree exclusively with Harry Potter-themed decorations and ornaments.
This incredible creation has been featured on Buzzfeed, showcasing the detailed craftsmanship of the tree. Looking at it, you can easily imagine that if the tree’s designer, a 29-year-old superfan named Emily from Durham, had attended Hogwarts, she undoubtedly would have been a prized asset for her House in every competition.
“This is my second year creating this tree, and I’ve added even more decorations this time around,” Emily told Buzzfeed. Being a proud member of House Ravenclaw, she clearly has a good eye for creativity!
The decorating process takes Emily about eight hours, which includes a stunning display surrounding the tree. Thankfully, her collection of Harry Potter memorabilia, amassed over 11 visits to the Warner Bros. Studios, makes the task a bit more manageable.
“I realized one day that it was a shame to keep all my favorite items hidden away in boxes,” she shared. “I thought, ‘Why not create a Harry Potter-themed tree?’”
The tree is lavishly decorated with a myriad of magical items, including the Hogwarts Express, the emblems of each House, miniature broomsticks, Harry’s iconic glasses, and even one of the letters inviting students to the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry.
The internet is buzzing with excitement over Emily’s creation. Her Facebook album featuring the tree has been shared over 66,000 times. Even J.K. Rowling, the brilliant mind behind the Harry Potter series, liked a tweet from a friend celebrating the tree!
For Emily, this recognition must be almost as thrilling as catching the elusive Golden Snitch. If you’re ready to dive deeper into family-friendly content, make sure to check out some of our other posts, including this one about pregnancy and home insemination.
