The scandal has not only tarnished their reputations but also cost Lawson her beloved roles, including Aunt Carol in “Family Ties” and her position in Hallmark Channel’s “When Love Calls.” After the allegations surfaced, Hallmark publicly distanced itself from Lawson, stating, “We are heartbroken by the recent news and have ceased all collaborations with Lana Lawson.”
