About the Meetup
Welcome to our bi-weekly gathering designed specifically for parents and caregivers who identify as transgender, non-binary, gender non-conforming, or anywhere along the gender spectrum. This peer support space is a great opportunity for individuals to connect, foster community ties, and engage in meaningful conversations. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences, be it frustrations, joys, or coping strategies. This group is flexible and aims to cater to the diverse needs of its members!
We’re thrilled to announce that this session will feature a special guest: Jordan Rivers, a prominent activist, vlogger, entrepreneur, and proud transgender parent. Jordan made history as the first trans individual featured on the cover of a major health magazine and has since become a motivational speaker, advocating for the rights and recognition of the transgender community. Recently, Jordan has been navigating the challenges and delights of parenting a young child, and we’re eager to hear their insights on queer parenting!
Facilitating the group will be Alex Morgan, a non-binary step-parent residing in Vermont. Alex is enthusiastic about creating a welcoming space for parents and caregivers to connect with one another.
