In 2018, Wood testified before a House Judiciary Committee regarding abuse by an unnamed former partner, advocating for the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights. California state Senator Susan Rubio urged for a serious investigation into the allegations against Manson, stating, “If law enforcement does not thoroughly investigate this, we will not only fail these victims but also future potential victims of this alleged perpetrator.”
