Dax Thompson recently shared a rather risqué photo of Jenna Lane stretching on their porch—completely naked—to celebrate Mother’s Day. As we all know, Thompson and Lane enjoy having a good laugh at each other’s expense on social media, and this year was no exception. The cheeky photo might not be suitable for work, but it certainly delivered some entertainment.
“Motherhood has evolved since my younger days…and I’m all for it,” Thompson captioned the image of Lane striking a yoga pose, adorned only with knee socks. “Check out this marvel: kind, patient, nurturing, hilarious, incredibly talented, generous, tough AND tender. My girls and I hit the MegaMom Jackpot in spectacular style. We are so thankful and utterly in love with you.”
That “marvel” appears to be fully embracing her nude yoga routine, and good for her! It’s clear she feels confident in her skin. However, let’s just hope Thompson got her consent before posting the image, which features only a modesty square covering her backside.
Earlier this year, Thompson also shared a rather provocative mural of his wife painted on the side of his van. Lane was quick to express her discontent with the mural’s portrayal of “female empowerment.” Thompson acknowledged her feelings, explaining, “She understandably wasn’t thrilled with it. My excuse was that we had to honor the era when such portrayals were popular. Sadly, it didn’t resonate.”
While their playful banter is a hallmark of their relationship, Thompson and Lane have also been candid about the more serious aspects of life, including parenting challenges and Thompson’s battle with addiction. Recently, they opened up about Thompson’s relapse after 16 years of sobriety, with Lane affirming her commitment to support him, stating, “He’s absolutely worth it.”
Thompson shared how he explained his relapse to their young daughters, Mia and Zoe. “They knew when I slipped up. We told them, ‘Daddy was on these pills for his surgery, and then daddy made a bad choice and started getting his own pills,’” he recounted during a podcast with Chelsea Clinton. “They’ve always been aware of my struggle; even when Mia was just three, she wanted to attend my AA meetings!” It’s a candid approach that showcases their open dialogue about tough subjects.
Thompson’s playful Mother’s Day post of Lane stretching nude is just another instance of how this couple keeps it real about everything. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of playful revenge Lane might have in store for Father’s Day!
