The name “Lily” holds sentimental value, as it’s named after Johnson’s maternal grandmother. “Oh my goodness, her name is Lily, after my mother,” said Johnson’s mom, Mary. “I knew it had to start with an ‘L’ and be a cool name, knowing how much family means to them. I had my suspicions but didn’t want to pry… when I found out, I was in tears.”
A Memorable Delivery
Johnson also discussed the delivery, noting that it was less dramatic than the births of his two sons. Liam and Noah made rather memorable entrances; Liam was born in a rush at home, and Noah almost arrived in an Uber. Aware of her quick labor, his wife chose to have Lily at home with the assistance of a midwife. When labor began, Johnson called the midwife, and Lily was welcomed into the world in their bathtub—still an exciting experience!
