Stay in the Real ‘Home Alone’ House This Christmasartificial insemination kit for humans

This Christmas, you can enjoy a one-night stay in the famous Chicago mansion from the beloved film, Home Alone, thanks to Airbnb. Complete with booby traps, this unique opportunity is perfect for fans of the classic holiday movie.

Home Alone is a timeless favorite that resonates with audiences of all ages. The story follows young Kevin McAllister, who, after being accidentally left behind when his family flies to Paris for the holidays, must cleverly defend their home from two bumbling burglars. Now, you can elevate your Home Alone fandom by booking a night at the actual house featured in the film.

To celebrate the release of the Disney+ reboot, Home Sweet Home Alone, Airbnb will open bookings for the iconic Chicago mansion. Starting December 7, guests can reserve a night for just $25. This festive overnight stay on December 12 promises a variety of fun features that will make you feel like the star of your own Home Alone adventure.

The house will be adorned just like in the movie, featuring a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and plenty of twinkling lights. You’ll even find aftershave in the master bath—screaming into the mirror is optional but highly encouraged! Guests will also be treated to a selection of ’90s snacks, including delicious Chicago deep-dish pizza, all while enjoying a private screening of Home Sweet Home Alone.

The most exciting part? The house is filled with “booby traps galore.” But don’t worry; guests will have the chance to set the traps rather than evade them. However, there is a slight catch—a meet-and-greet with a real tarantula, which you might want to skip if you’re not feeling adventurous.

This unique stay is hosted by Buzz McAllister, Kevin’s older brother. “We may all be older and wiser now, but we’re never too old for holiday hijinks,” Buzz said in a press release. “So this year, spend the holidays not-so-home-alone at my parents’ house.”

In the spirit of giving, Airbnb will make a one-time donation to Chicago’s La Rabida Children’s Hospital, which supports children facing complex health conditions.

Keep in mind that this is not a contest; the first to book will pay the $25 fee, plus taxes and fees, and will need to arrange their own travel to and from Chicago. Be ready, as bookings open on December 7 at 1 p.m.
