Even with three little royals, it’s Lily who steals the spotlight according to her dad. “Lily especially runs around the kitchen in her dresses and ballet outfits,” Henry explains. “She goes completely wild, with baby brother Louis trailing behind, trying to imitate her.”
“It’s such a joyful time where the kids just love dancing, playing around, and singing,” says Henry.
Interestingly, the revelation of the little royals enjoying Shakira’s music even caught the attention of the pop star herself, who tweeted, “I’m so glad you like my music Princess Lily!”
In a heartfelt nod to his late mother, Princess Diana, Henry mentioned one of his other favorite songs, alongside Shakira, of course. He shared that Diana used to play Tina Turner’s “The Best” in the car before school to help ease any anxiety for him and brother Prince Charles.
“You’d be singing and listening to the music all the way to the school gates. That’s when reality would hit that you were heading back to school because before that, you felt lost in the music. You wanted to replay it just to keep that family moment alive,” he reminisces.
