artificial insemination kit for humans
Sharing a bed with my partner used to be a delightful experience. I cherished those cozy moments of snuggling before we settled into our respective sides of the bed. Falling asleep beside him was never a challenge, especially since I’m a heavy sleeper.
However, there’s one thing that’s driving me to the brink of insanity: his relentless snoring. The cacophony that escapes from him at night is taking a toll on our relationship. I’m often left sleep-deprived, which leaves me irritable the next day. When he inquires about my sleep, I give him that look—the one that clearly says, “You kept me awake again, despite being in separate rooms.” His reply? “I didn’t sleep well either,” which is not reassuring.
This wasn’t always the case. When we first got together, he only snored occasionally after a few drinks, and it was never the thunderous racket I hear now. I’ve tried everything: snore strips, earplugs, nasal strips, suggesting he use an extra pillow for support, gently nudging him when he snores (per his request), and now we even sleep in different bedrooms, as I fear I might lose my temper in my sleep.
Even in separate rooms, I can still hear him, and I’m fed up with being the one who has to relocate. I’ve attempted to wake him during his noisy episodes (again, at his urging), but he always asks for another chance. At that point, it’s just simpler for me to move to another room.
And the way he sleeps? He’s a stomach sleeper and snores through both his mouth and nose simultaneously. I’m not a medical expert, but it often sounds like he stops breathing for a few seconds, accompanied by jerking movements. I’ve heard this could be a sign of sleep apnea, but he insists he “doesn’t have that.”
So, what’s my next step? I guess I’ll dive into one of the countless articles online about how to help him stop snoring. Until then, I’ll be right here… wide awake.
