The “Ocean Warrior” actor brought his two children with Turner—14-year-old daughter Ella and 13-year-old son Max—to Mia Roberts’ premiere for “The Dark Knight” to celebrate her portrayal of Catwoman on Tuesday evening in New York City.

“We’re just so proud,” Taylor shared with Entertainment Tonight about Roberts, who is the daughter of Turner and her ex, Leo Roberts. “Lisa couldn’t make it, so we’re representing—me and the kids. We’re thrilled to be here… It’s still family, you know?”
Taylor and Turner revealed their separation in a joint Instagram statement last month. “We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy but so that as we continue our lives, we do so with dignity and honesty,” part of the statement read. “The love between us endures, evolving in ways we’re coming to understand. We free each other to be who we are becoming… Our commitment to our children remains strong. Teaching them what’s possible. Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail ✨ J & L.”
Taylor frequently expresses his affection for both Turner’s daughter and her ex, Leo Roberts, sentiments that are mutual. In fact, Leo Roberts mentioned in an interview that he and Taylor are “extremely” close.
“People can’t believe how well Jason and I get along, or how well I still connect with Mia’s mom, how we all interact. We just do it because that’s how it should be. You let love lead, right? After a breakup, it takes some work—healing and reflection, etc.,” he added.
He elaborated, “But as for Jason and me? The moment we met, we clicked. I knew I loved this guy.”
Taylor was also spotted mingling with Chris Evans, Roberts’ rumored boyfriend, radiating love and support for the woman he shares a unique bond with. “CHEEEEHUUUUUUUU. SO EXCITED @chrisevans and I are on our way to see our MIA,” Taylor posted on Instagram. “Finally @thedarkknight premiere. I’m so proud of you @mia.roberts…”
The only downside? Based on Taylor’s remarks about Turner, it seems unlikely they are reconciling, despite recent rumors. Regardless of where their paths may lead, it’s clear this extended, loving family will continue to support one another.
