Welcome to Your Friday Distraction!
Hey there! You know that classic question, “How old do you think I am?” It’s such a tough one to tackle, right? If you guess too low, it feels like you’re just buttering them up. Nail their age exactly, and suddenly it’s super awkward. There’s really no winning with that one!
Well, it seems like the team at Tech Innovations is feeling the same way. They recently rolled out a site called How-Old.net, which uses facial recognition tech to guess your age based on your photos. I gave it a whirl, and let me tell you, the results were all over the place. The first image of me? It said I was 20! The second? A whopping 35. I’m actually 43—guess I’ve got some serious skills in tricking a computer into thinking I’m younger.
Curious about how it would judge some famous faces, I tried it with the cast of the Reality Show Divas and even the Olsen Sisters (who are actually 28). I mean, we all knew the 90210 crew wasn’t exactly in high school anymore, but ouch, Andrea! This thing is hilarious, yet slightly creepy. It’s a bit weird to upload your pic and let a program decide your age, right? But hey, it’s Friday—let’s have some fun with it.
