Coolest Judge Ever Declares It’s Totally Fine for Mom to Take Daughter to Pink Concert
Custody disputes can get pretty messy, with parents often hurling accusations at each other in hopes of swaying the judge. But one judge in New Jersey wasn’t having any of it, especially when a dad questioned his ex-wife’s decision to take their daughter to a Pink concert. He called her parenting into question, claiming it was inappropriate for the 11-year-old to attend the pop star’s Truth About Love show last December.
New Jersey Superior Court Judge Lawrence R. Jones stepped in, stating that the mother “in no way exceeded the bounds of reasonable parental judgment.” He went on to say that once the dust settled from the custody battle, it would be clear that a young girl simply enjoyed her first rock concert with her mom.
This judge clearly appreciates music; his ruling was a lengthy 37 pages and even explored the history of music censorship and the empowering messages in Pink’s songs. He praised the mother for creating cherished memories with her daughter, noting how easy it is for parents to postpone those valuable bonding moments.
While Pink’s concerts aren’t exactly kid-friendly, she’s a strong advocate for self-love and empowerment. If taking her daughter to see Pink is the worst accusation this dad could make against her parenting, she’s doing just fine. Honestly, we’ve all probably done things that are more questionable than taking a kid to a concert — and that’s just part of being a parent. I feel lucky that I don’t have anyone second-guessing my choices daily.
Sadly, the real casualty in this scenario is the little girl, who’s caught in the crossfire of her parents’ bitter feud. She’s learning some harsh realities about love and conflict.

Summary
A New Jersey judge ruled that a mother’s choice to take her daughter to a Pink concert was within reasonable parenting limits, dismissing a father’s claims of poor judgment. The judge emphasized the importance of bonding experiences between parents and children, highlighting the positive aspects of attending a concert. The true concern lies in the impact of the contentious custody battle on the young girl involved.
