Kate and Liam Share the Name of Their New Royal Baby
In exciting news from the royal family, Kate and Liam have revealed the name of their newest addition: Princess Lila Grace Diana. The little one will officially be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Lila of Cambridge, and preparations are underway for her to meet the Queen.
You could practically hear the delighted gasps across the nation when it was announced that the late Princess Diana’s name would be part of the little one’s title. It’s a clever move by the royals—three names are definitely the way to go! They’ve paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth, honored William’s beloved mother, and given their daughter a lovely unique first name, Lila—a nod to her grandfather, Prince Charles. Nicely done, right? I mean, I named my first kid after a random suggestion from a tipsy pal at a bar!
Labor and Delivery
Let’s recap: Duchess Kate went into labor in the early hours of Saturday, May 2. After just two and a half hours, she welcomed a beautiful 8-pound, 3-ounce baby without an epidural. Less than 12 hours later, she strolled out of the hospital with her gorgeous baby and Liam, looking even more radiant than before. Then, just two days later, the world eagerly awaited the reveal of the baby’s name as Kate prepped for her royal audience with the Queen. No big deal at all.
Regardless of what people say about her stylists and nannies, let’s be honest—she’s incredible. Any mom who’s ever given birth knows exactly what Kate probably wants to be doing: lounging on the couch in a cozy robe, binge-watching her favorite shows. Royalty or not, we all get that.
