Amazon’s Big Day Wasn’t All That, But the Letdown Was Pretty Fun
So, the internet has been buzzing for weeks, all hyped up for Amazon’s special “Prime Day.” And, honestly? What a letdown. Unless you’re the type who gets giddy over socks, shoehorns, or a collection of questionable knick-knacks.
Check this out: a massive barrel of lube was 46% off. Seriously, so many questions! Were these the kinds of deals you envisioned while you stayed up until midnight? You’re definitely not alone in feeling disappointed. The internet has turned on Amazon, and honestly, it’s quite entertaining.
You’d think you’d simply search for what you wanted and find a sweet discount or at least be pointed toward something similar on sale. Instead, customers were stuck staring at that endless “lightning deals” bar with hardly anything worth getting excited about. Sure, there were a few decent items like a Kindle Fire and some Bose headphones, but guess what? Those sold out in no time.
Oh well. At least our wallets are a bit heavier today. If you’re curious about more parenting topics, check out this post on home insemination for some great insights. In summary, while Amazon’s Prime Day didn’t quite live up to the hype, the collective disappointment has turned into quite the spectacle online.
