Mom Protests Target’s Bathroom Policy While Her Kids Watch, Because Why Not?
A video is making the rounds of a mother of 12, marching through Target with her Bible in hand and her kids trailing behind her, all while she passionately protests the store’s bathroom policy. Honestly, how frustrating would it be to finally enjoy some solo shopping time only to have your peace shattered by this? No one interrupts my precious Target run, lady. No one.
Her antics are not just loud; they’re downright hateful! It’s an attack on families, on mothers, and on children. Come on, America—when will you stand up for what really matters? Are we really going to let fear dictate how we treat our kids?
Seriously, enough is enough. This woman parading through Target, shouting hateful messages with her children in tow, does not represent the moral high ground. I mean, I don’t believe in the devil, but if I had to pick, it seems like she fits the bill more than those promoting love and acceptance.
One of our contributors recently tackled the Target bathroom policy and has been inundated with hate mail ever since. Check out this gem of a comment: it’s like a villain in a cheesy horror movie donned a “sweet grandma” disguise and took to social media. And this is just one of many similar messages.
So, are those of us who stand for equality in the wrong? Just because we oppose absurd laws like those in North Carolina, it doesn’t make us Anti-American. There’s a running joke when ridiculous issues like this arise: ‘Merica. Honestly, we should reconsider how we define what it means to be American. Inclusivity and equality are just as much a part of this country as any loud protester. Sure, they may shout louder, but intelligence is not their strong suit. I refuse to believe they represent the majority.
“I am a mother of 12 and this wicked practice disgusts me… Other mothers, get your kids out of this store!” Well, guess what? We’re in here happily shopping for Merona yoga pants and Market Pantry ham—not to mention using the restroom without a care in the world because we’re not, well, ignorant.

In short, while some might attempt to hijack public spaces with their protests, it’s crucial to remember that love and acceptance will always prevail over hate.
