Check out this adorable photo shoot featuring a girl and her beloved burrito! Growing up in California, I learned that burritos are not just food; they’re a way of life. A Mission burrito in San Francisco could easily keep you fed for days—though we prefer to devour them in one glorious sitting. And don’t even get me started on the right salsa and the all-important guacamole-to-rice ratio.

When crafted with care, burritos are nothing short of culinary masterpieces. So when I saw this girl frolicking in a field with a burrito and a professional photographer capturing the moment, I totally understood her vibe.

Photographer Laura René and her daughter Mia were whipping up a fantastic burrito dinner when Mia took a bite and fell head over heels. “Mia took a bite of her burrito and nearly melted into her chair, declaring that she would marry her burrito if she could,” Laura shared with us. “A few bites later, she turned to me and said, ‘I know what we’re doing this weekend! We have to do it! I’m in love with him (the burrito) and nothing will change that!’”

Mia was determined to have a wedding photo shoot with her burrito. The heart wants what it wants—can you blame her?

  • Burritos never tell you how to use your phone apps.
  • Burritos won’t ask you to hunt down their socks.
  • Burritos don’t leave dirty dishes in the sink; they magically clean themselves!
  • Burritos don’t push your favorite shows off the DVR for the latest sports event.
  • If burritos could stop and ask for directions, you know they would.
  • Burritos would never dream of tossing an open bag of hotdogs into the fridge without sealing it properly.

Burritos before boys! This girl is making the right choice.
