Your Symbols Don’t Intimidate Me
I often find myself pondering the rationale behind hateful symbols like yours, believing that understanding might lessen the impact. Yet, I realize that there’s no real logic to hate—it’s simply irrational.
As a person of Jewish heritage, I come from a lineage that has faced persecution. My grandparents fled Germany to escape the horrors associated with the very symbol you display. Spoiler alert: that symbol failed miserably. It didn’t erase Jews from existence. Here I am, living my life—typing away, sipping a delicious iced coffee, and jamming to some upbeat tunes on Spotify. That must be infuriating for you.
When I see your swastika, I’m curious about your intentions. What do you hope to achieve? Am I supposed to feel so threatened that I’d consider ending my life because you want me gone? You have no power over me or the choices of this nation. Policy isn’t dictated by spray paint.
“Go to Auschwitz,” you might shout at a rally. But really, how does that improve your life? What tangible benefits do you gain from wishing harm upon an entire ethnicity? Your own warped sense of satisfaction doesn’t count. I want a legitimate explanation, but I know I won’t get one. Much like your desire for a nation devoid of those you oppose, reality doesn’t operate that way.
Perhaps you believe that since the Germans, who created this symbol, were so “successful” in their genocidal attempts, you can replicate that success here. But what’s your actual goal? Is it mass murder? Or just mass incarceration? Have you considered the financial burden of such a plan? After all, these things require funding, and I’m pretty sure there’s no federal budget line for genocide.
You’re lacking a real plan or even a coherent idea. It seems you just want to disrupt our democracy out of sheer frustration, unable to engage in meaningful dialogue. You’re like a crazy straw in a glass of rat poison—confusing and nonsensical.
Ultimately, I’ve learned that hate is devoid of sense or reason. It’s nothing more than empty noise. If you take a moment to reflect, even you might realize that it leads nowhere.
You’re clinging to a dying ideology, fighting a battle that has already been lost. The future is moving forward, and it’s not something you can control. What causes your animosity? Did we wrong you in some way? Or are you simply so blinded by ignorance that you can’t see the beauty of our diverse society? It’s as if you’re trying to hold back the dawn—good luck with that.
Let me be clear: when I see your swastika, fear isn’t my reaction. I’m not intimidated by your spray-painted hate. You defaced a public space and then scurried away, lacking the courage to stand behind your words. You’re not rallying support for a just cause because you don’t have one.
You already have the privileges you need—look around at the world and see how fortunate you are. You want more without considering what you could contribute to the society that provides so much. You’re acting like a spoiled child, demanding without recognizing the need for reciprocity.
You lack a clear vision or purpose, merely wanting to impose your sense of entitlement on those who won’t stand for it. Many of us believe this country is already wonderful, and we’re determined to keep progressing.

In summary, hate is irrational and serves no purpose. We’re moving forward, embracing diversity and inclusion, while you’re stuck in a cycle of negativity that leads nowhere but backward.
