This Youngster’s Bucket List Is Pure #Inspiration

Her ambitions are simultaneously uplifting and delightfully quirky.

If you were to create a bucket list, it might look quite different from one crafted by a child. But perhaps not! An eleven-year-old girl named Lily has put together a wonderfully odd and impressively detailed list of aspirations that we can’t help but notice align closely with some “mom” goals.

When her brother Alex stumbled upon this unique list penned by his sister, he couldn’t resist sharing it on Twitter for all to see. “I just found my sister’s bucket list! What on earth is she thinking?” he muses, and honestly, we share his curiosity.

While some entries are wonderfully innocent—like her desire to pet a blobfish, koala, sloth, flamingo, and seal—others are quite unconventional.

Lily kicks off her list with the bold aim to “eat a hammerhead shark, snake, and bear.” Talk about adventurous! She then plans to “get a sign that says something in a different language, then on March 12, 2019, I will translate it.” Is she a young oracle? Does she know about Google Translate? And what’s with the two-year wait? So many questions arise, but let’s keep going.

Next on her list is a desire to try “Aerial silks,” which, contrary to what it sounds like, has nothing to do with growing legs and singing to crustaceans. This girl definitely has a flair for the dramatic!

Now, we transition from the peculiar to some serious “mom goals.” Lily aims to one day “sit in an empty room for an hour” and “devour 10 Taco Bell Dorito Tacos.” Yes, please! This is practically the definition of Mom Nirvana—peace, quiet, and tacos. We’re all in!

Not content with just enjoying her Taco Bell haul, she also dreams of winning a “Taco Bell Dorito Taco eating contest.” Go big or go home, right? After indulging in her taco feast, she clearly understands the need for recovery, as her eighth point is to “stay asleep for 24 hours.”

Lily, can you be our life coach? Seriously.

Her ultimate aspiration (which happens to be my favorite) is to pet a cheetah—because why not? While most little girls might settle for cuddling with kittens, Lily is clearly on another level.

Regarding her sister’s newfound internet fame, Alex tells Mashable, “I don’t even think she realizes how many people are cheering her on. 10,000 folks have praised her ambition, and I doubt she can even grasp that many people supporting her dreams.”

Count us among her countless fans! If Lily achieves even half of her goals, she’ll have enough wisdom to teach a masterclass on living life to the fullest. And we’re definitely rooting for her!
