As summer draws to a close, preparations for the upcoming academic year are well underway. Recently, I engaged in addressing correspondence for my incoming kindergarten students, personalizing each letter with their names. This act, in my view, infuses warmth into the message. While reflecting on the year ahead, I was reminded of those children who are poised to embark on their kindergarten journey but, due to unforeseen circumstances, will not be joining us.
This year, I have resolved to embrace these children in spirit. I will serve as their teacher, and here is a letter welcoming them into my classroom.
