However, these claims lack scientific backing. While it’s essential for parents to have autonomy, it’s equally important that they are equipped with accurate information to make informed decisions. The notion that mandates infringe on “parents’ rights” neglects the rights of parents whose children face greater risks from severe COVID-19 infections. It’s disheartening to see that the rights of those parents seem to matter little to the anti-mask advocates.
