That said, admiration can sometimes slip into fetishization, and it’s essential to recognize the emotional complexities involved in such interactions. Many queer women recount experiences where their relationships with curious straight women were ultimately superficial, leading to feelings of confusion and hurt.
Nonetheless, there’s a part of me that feels a sense of validation every time I see a straight woman come to terms with her fluidity.
