We aspire for Lila’s journey to enhance awareness about limb differences and promote inclusion for children like her. Just like Lila, they can achieve anything they set their minds to!”

Celebrating Diversity

This year, over 225,000 entries were submitted for the contest, which is open to children under four years old in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The winner received $25,000, which will be allocated for Lila’s medical care. “What makes this moment special is that she was selected not only for her delightful personality and smile but also as a representative of diversity,” Sarah told TODAY. “We are grateful that she might help raise awareness for children with limb differences, which is incredibly meaningful to us.”
