The 2014 Thanksgiving Project: The Results

The 2014 Thanksgiving Project: The Resultshome insemination Kit

Hey friends, I’ve got to get something off my chest: I was a little worried. As we geared up for this year’s Thanksgiving Project, I found myself in a whirlwind of anxiety, fearing we wouldn’t hit our fundraising goals. With so many worthy causes out there and tough times for many, it felt overwhelming.

Even though donations were rolling in, the applications kept pouring faster than we could manage. I started drafting my apologies, accepting that not everyone who asked for help could be served. Honestly, I just didn’t think we’d pull it off… but guess what? We did!

We raised an amazing $114,516 in under a month. That means 2,152 families can now relax knowing they have a Thanksgiving meal to look forward to. We made it happen, folks!

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed or spread the word. Your belief in our community and the power of connection made all the difference. If you haven’t seen your family assignment yet, check your inbox (or spam folder) for an email. If by November 21 you don’t have it, reach out and we’ll sort it out!

Big shoutouts to our partners, like InteliSpend Prepaid Solutions, who made the gift card process seamless. They’ve definitely earned our loyalty! Also, thank you to Nehemiah Manufacturing Co for going above and beyond in their social media support, and to WhatsUpMoms for creating an incredible book trailer whose proceeds benefited the project.

Huge thanks to Glennon Melton’s non-profit, Together Rising, for their support. If you missed this project, definitely take a look at their amazing Holiday Hands initiative. And let’s not forget the generosity of AUL Corporation and SH International.

On a personal note, I want to thank my fantastic co-authors who donated all their book earnings to this cause. You guys are truly incredible! Thanks also to the amazing team who manages everything behind the scenes and keeps everything running smoothly. Your dedication is inspiring.

A final thank you to my wonderful friends who helped make Thanksgiving special for families in need. I couldn’t have done this without your passion and heart.

So here’s to a joyful Thanksgiving for all of us.
