This little one’s aspirations are a mix of inspiring and downright quirky. When it comes to bucket lists, you might expect the grown-up version to be more conventional, but an eleven-year-old named Emma has crafted a hilariously detailed list of life goals that are surprisingly relatable for parents.
Josh stumbled upon his sister Emma’s amusing bucket list and, in true 2017 fashion, shared it on Twitter for the world to see. “I found my sister’s bucket list? What kind of imagination does she have?” he mused. And honestly, we’re a little bit worried too!
While some entries are adorably childlike, like her desire to pet a blobfish, koala, sloth, flamingo, and seal, others are just plain odd. Emma starts off boldly declaring her aim to “eat a hammerhead shark, snake, and bear.” Um, okay, then!
Next, she wants to “get a sign that says something in another language, and then on March 12, 2019, I will translate it.” Is she a mini Nostradamus? Does she know about Google Translate? And what’s with the two-year waiting period? So many questions!
Emma also expressed interest in trying “Ariel silks,” which turns out to mean “aerial silks.” Sadly, this has nothing to do with growing human legs and singing to a cartoon crab. She clearly has big circus ambitions!
Things get a bit more relatable as she transitions into some major “mom goals.” For instance, she longs to “sit in an empty room for an hour” and “eat 10 Taco Bell Dorito Tacos.” YASSS, QUEEN! That sounds like absolute Mom Heaven—just silence, solitude, and tacos. We’re officially on board with Emma’s vision.
But she’s not stopping there! Emma has set her sights on winning a “Taco Bell Dorito Taco eating contest.” Go big or go home, right? After her taco binge, she’s obviously thinking ahead about the inevitable food coma, as her next goal is to “stay asleep for 24 hours.”
Can we hire you as our life coach, Emma? Her final goal (which is definitely my favorite) is to pet a cheetah. Talk about aiming high! Most little girls might settle for playing with kittens, but Emma isn’t “most little girls.”
Regarding her newfound internet fame, Josh told Mashable, “I don’t think she realizes just how many people love her ambition—over 10,000 people have shown their support!” Count us among her many fans. If Emma manages to tick even half of these off her list, she might as well host a master class on living your best life. We’re cheering for her all the way!
